Everyone loves the buzz, premier and excitement of a new television program so every fall we invite local television stations to present their fall line-up for your viewing enjoyment. It's a great chance to get a sneak peek at upcoming TV shows while chatting it up a bit with your local TV reps.
When it comes to buying media, who DOESN'T love a deal?! Once a year, local television/radio stations, outdoor companies, publications, interactive companies and more generously donate air time and ad space to the Advertising Federation of El Paso for our annual media auction. It's a great chance to get excellent advertising opportunities at a fraction of the cost. Don't miss out the excitement and savings of this yearly event!
Students are the future of our industry so it only makes sense we dedicate one of our events to their needs. Our annual conference begins with a morning filled with three to four speaker panels, each dedicated to a different field of the advertising/marketing industry. Topics of discussion have included sales, media, creative, interactive, radio, television and more. The panel discussions are followed by a business-style luncheon with an industry guest speaker and then an afternoon filled with agency/station tours or student shadowing. It's a great experience for everyone involved.
The only thing crazier than the name is the amount of fun that comes along with this event! The minute you walk into the bowling alley you get blasted with the heat of competition in the air. Whether it's Best Score, Most Team Spirit or Best Costume, there's always some category to win along with 365 days worth of bragging rights. So brush up on those bowling skills, warm up your battlecry and start surfing the web for costume ideas because this is one event you don't want to miss!
We wouldn't exist if it weren't for the generosity of everyone who attends and participates in our events so we like to show our gratitude by throwing an occasional soiree your way. Munchies, drink specials, a little entertainment and a prize or two are all just our little way of saying "thank you" for all you do to help keep us alive. Ask one of your friendly board members about more details!
